Jean Quinn has held leadership positions in the international education field for over 30 years. She believes strongly in the transformative powers of exchanges.

Jean is currently a Senior Vice President at AIFS and is the Director of the Au Pair in America program. Jean has experienced exchanges from many vantage points. Her experience as a high school exchange student in France opened the door to international travel. Jean earned a BS in Education and after several years teaching in New York, was one of 70 American teachers chosen to participate in the Mountbatten Program to teach in inner-city London. She attended the School for International Training and received a master’s degree in Intercultural Management. Her thesis explored Self Esteem Development in Exchange Participants; a topic she continues to champion in her leadership roles. Jean has been a host mother to four au pairs from Brazil, Spain and Costa Rica and hopes she has positively impacted the lives of these amazing young women.
