AuPairWorld is the world’s leading au pair platform. Using web-based technologies, the company brings together au pairs and host families simply, safely and directly, providing comprehensive customer support in five different languages to promote the au pair model of cultural exchange. AuPairWorld is based in Kassel, Germany, and has 35 employees. Appointed as one of AuPairWorld’s managing directors at the beginning of 2013, Ann-Kristin is responsible for the areas of corporate communications, customer satisfaction, website content, PR as well as sales and marketing. Her experiences as an au pair, a student abroad and a volunteer in Italy have made Ann-Kristin a strong believer in cultural exchange as a means of promoting international understanding as well as individual personal development. She speaks German, English and French fluently, and, as a mother of two small children, she is currently getting ready to welcome the first au pair into her family.
