Aleksandra (Ola) Lasut is a 24-year-old Polish young. Ola started her au pair experience in the USA right after graduating from high school at the age of 19 in 2018. She lived with her host family in the suburbs of New York City in a small town – about 35 minutes from Manhattan. As an au pair, she took care of the family’s three children, ages 6, 9, and 12. After the au pair year was over, she felt that one year wasn’t enough for her and extended her stay with the same family for another 9 months. Since her return to Poland, she visits her host family every year, recently they travelled to Europe, and she met them in Paris. Currently, Ola lives in Krakow and works as an interviewer for her former au pair sponsor and as a front desk manager at a hotel in Krakow.
