Travel information 2022

We all know that traveling can be a bit more complicated than we were used to.

Before departure to Malta
Before departure to Malta please make sure you have checked the last travel restrictions in your own country and in Malta. For Malta please check, Covid-19 – Travel to Malta for the latest updates.

On arrival in Malta
Most countries are on the red list for Malta which means you would need the following:

1. Submit your passenger locator form (PLF) via EU Digital Passenger Locator Form, and provide the QR code at check in and on arrival in Malta in digital format.

Note: Please do not wait with filling in this form till the last moment as it may take some time.

2. Provide proof of valid vaccination certificate recognised by the Superintendent of Public Health.For local certificates please refer to the Standards for Vaccine Certificate Validity.

3. be able to show a completed Public health travel declaration form

Rapid COVID test / PCR Tests
If you need a test for your return flight, you can ask the reception of the Radisson Blu Resort to assist you with making a booking at a testing facility nearby, 5 minutes walking distance.

The costs are EUR 45 for a rapid test and EUR 120 for a PCR test. Alternatively you can get a rapid test at Malta International Airport.
